A Wonderful Story
All too often, we get caught up in the "hustle and bustle" of our lives and some of the simple things that give meaning to life can escape our attention for a while.
This story is a reminder to "stop-and-smell-the-roses" a little each day.
We hope you'll enjoy the story and find value in the content.
"Seven Wonders Of The World"
A group of young students was given an assignment to do in class... They were asked to list what they thought were presently the Seven Wonders of the World.
Although there was some disagreement, the following got the most votes:
1. Great Pyramids of Egypt
2. Taj Mahal
3. Grand Canyon
4. Panama Canal
5. Empire State Building
6. St. Peter's Basilica
7. Great Wall of China
While gathering the votes, the teacher noted that one quiet student hadn't turned in her paper yet. So, she asked the girl if she was having trouble with her list.
The girl replied, "Yes, a little. I couldn't quite make up my mind because there were so many."
The teacher said, "Well, tell us what you have, and maybe we can help."
The girl hesitated, and then in a soft voice read, "I think the Seven Wonders of the World are:"
1. "to touch"
2. "to taste"
3. "to see"
4. "to hear"
She hesitated a little, and then added,
5. "to feel"
6. "to laugh"
7. "and to love!"
The room was suddenly silent - you could've heard a pin drop.

Those things we overlook as "simple" and "ordinary" are truly wondrous.
Reflecting on the power and beauty of simple things is good for the heart, the soul, and the spirit.

Amazing Sidewalk Art
Here’s something else I wanted to share with you. A business acquaintance sent me these photos of chalk drawings that were done on a city sidewalk. These life-like chalk drawings have an absolutely amazing 3-D illusion.
The sidewalk artist is Julian Beever. He is an English artist well-known for his chalk art on the pavement in England, France, Germany, Australia, Belgium, and the United States.
This chalk drawing looks like a giant bottle of Coca-Cola. Notice the reflection (or shadow) of the bottle. I think that's his box of colored chalk in the corner.
No tricks, just a skilled artist making a flat drawing look 3 dimensional.
No matter how long you look... you can almost believe that it is real.
It looks like a real hole with the removed chunk sitting off to the side.
If only each one of us could be that good at something. Well, actually we can if we would just tap into our potential. We all have some skill or talent that can be developed. Anything is possible when you follow your dream with drive and determination!

Two Days We Should Not Worry
(Inspirational / Motivational Poem)
Two Days We Should Not Worry
Author Unknown
There are two days in every week, about which we should not worry,
two days which should be kept free from fear and apprehension.
One of these days is Yesterday, with all its mistakes and cares,
its faults and blunders, its aches and pains.
Yesterday has passed forever beyond our control.
All the money in the world cannot bring back Yesterday.
We cannot undo a single act we performed;
we cannot erase a single word we said.
Yesterday is gone forever.
The other day we should not worry about is Tomorrow
with all its possible adversities, its burdens,
its large promise and its poor performance;
Tomorrow is also beyond our immediate control.
Tomorrow's sun will rise,
either in splendor or behind a mask of clouds, but it will rise.
Until it does, we have no stake in Tomorrow,
for it is yet to be born.
This leaves only one day, Today.
Any person can fight the battle of just one day.
It is when you and I add the burdens of those two awful eternities,
Yesterday and Tomorrow, that we break down.
It is not the experience of Today that drives a person mad,
it is the remorse or bitterness of something which happened Yesterday and the dread of what Tomorrow may bring.
Let us, therefore,
Live but one day at a time.

Interesting Visual Designs
Optical Illusion The word 'optical' can be seen in light yellow and the word 'illusion' is seen in the colorful spaces of the scenic picture. The letters are shaped funny, but the two words are there.
You and Me / Me and You, Together The word 'Me' is in brown and the word 'You' is in the center spaces.
Teach and Learn Learn is a direct reflection of Teach. It sure is, in every sense!
